Konya: Azerbaijan took part in the Administrative Board Meeting of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), which was convened in Konya, Trkiye. The gathering was hosted by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality and chaired by Ugur Ibrahim Altay, the city’s mayor.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting attracted representatives from Azerbaijan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Lebanon, the Gagauzia Autonomous Region of Moldova, Uzbekistan, and Trkiye. Participants acknowledged the Union’s initiatives and deliberated on enhancing collaboration between the municipalities involved. They also explored the potential for implementing joint projects.
Azerbaijan’s presence was marked by Tamraz Taghiyev, who represented the nation in his capacity as Chairman of the National Association of City Municipalities and the Narimanov District Municipality.
