Baku: The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has conveyed his condolences to the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza.
According to Trend News Agency, the condolences were extended following a terrorist attack in the northwestern region of Pakistan, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of several servicemen of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
In his letter, Colonel General Hasanov expressed his deep sorrow over the incident. He stated, “I am deeply saddened by the news of the deaths and injuries of a group of servicemen of the Pakistan Armed Forces resulting from the terrorist attack in the northwestern region of Pakistan.” The minister further expressed his prayers for the deceased, wishing for the repose of their souls and extending his deepest condolences to their families. He also hoped for a swift recovery for those injured and prayed for eternal peace for the deceased.
