Baku: Azerbaijan’s economic and financial cooperation with the United States has reached a strategic level, according to Taleh Kazimov, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA). Kazimov made this announcement during a roundtable event that was part of a business mission to Azerbaijan, organized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. This event also involved the leadership of the Central Bank and the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan, as reported by APA-Economics.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Kazimov emphasized that the partnership between Azerbaijan and the United States is grounded in mutual trust and is paving the way for sustainable development. During his address, he shared comprehensive insights into the country’s macroeconomic stability, the financial and banking sector’s resilience, advancements in financial technologies, digitalization initiatives, sustainable finance instruments, and reforms in cross-border payment infrastructure.
Kazimov also stressed the importance of further expanding cooperation with U.S. companies and the exchange of advanced technologies and expertise. He highlighted that banking missions organized in recent years have played a significant role in strengthening ties with U.S. banks.
