Baku: Azerbaijan’s non-oil and gas sector exports saw a 9% increase in January this year compared to the same period last year, reaching a value of $268.4 million. The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication provided this information, highlighting the growth in the sector’s export activities.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, exports of agricultural products in January 2026 rose by 32.6%, amounting to $85.7 million. Additionally, the exports of agro-industrial products were recorded at $21.9 million. The combined exports for agricultural and agro-industrial products experienced a 23.8% increase, totaling $107.6 million.
Furthermore, the exports of food products saw a 22.6% rise, reaching $103 million. This growth in the export of non-oil products underscores Azerbaijan’s expanding economic activities in sectors beyond oil and gas.
