Bonn:Baku A Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change has been approved. This agreement involves the Kyoto Protocol, the Paris Agreement, Climate Week 4, and the 30th meeting of the Adaptation Committee.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the Memorandum was officially approved through a law signed by President Ilham Aliyev.
The signing of the Memorandum took place in Bonn on September 1, 2026, and in Baku on September 2, 2026.
