Baku: Azerbaijan and Trkiye have taken a significant step forward by signing a Cooperation Agreement focused on Energy Efficiency in Buildings. This development is expected to enhance energy conservation efforts and promote sustainable building practices in both countries.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the agreement was signed amid a series of high-profile meetings involving President Ilham Aliyev. The Azerbaijani leader engaged in discussions with several international leaders, including the Prime Minister of Georgia, the Vice Premier of the State Council of China, and the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
President Aliyev highlighted the importance of international collaboration at the World Urban Forum (WUF13), noting a record number of participants. The UN Secretary-General expressed that the World Urban Forum is a key catalyst for achieving global urban development goals. Anacl¡udia Rossbach noted the unprecedented diversity of the audience at WUF13.
In another development, the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) announced the neutralization of 57 mines and 378 unexploded ordnances in liberated territories, marking progress in ensuring safety and security in these areas.
