Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan Sign Memorandum to Enhance Trade and Digital Economy Cooperation


Baku: A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the ‘Azexport.az’ portal of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) and the ‘QazTrade’ Center for Trade Policy Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in the fields of trade and digital economy between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, as reported by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication to APA-Economics.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the purpose of the document is to develop trade and economic relations between the two countries. It seeks to implement joint projects in the fields of e-commerce and digital economy, increase export potential, and ensure mutual access of Azerbaijani and Kazakh products to digital trade platforms.



As part of the Memorandum, the parties have agreed to promote trade, develop digital commerce, and exchange information on export-supporting regulations and regulatory frameworks. They also plan to implement joint initiatives to foster these objectives.
