Baku: The ‘Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Disaster and Crisis Management between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’ has received official approval. Initially signed in Amman on April 28, 2025, this agreement marks a significant step in strengthening bilateral cooperation in disaster management.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has endorsed the agreement by signing a decree. The agreement’s implementation will be overseen by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, which is tasked with ensuring that its provisions are adhered to. Additionally, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs will inform the Government of Jordan that all necessary internal procedures have been completed, paving the way for the agreement to come into force.
