Baku: The Agricultural Research Center (ATM) under Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Agriculture and the Italian Council for Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA) have entered into a memorandum of understanding to enhance collaboration in agriculture.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the memorandum was signed online by Rashad Huseynov, Director of the Agricultural Research Center, and Andrea Rocchi, President of CREA. CREA is a prominent Italian research organization that operates under the supervision of the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forestry.
The primary aim of the memorandum is to contribute to social welfare and economic development. Over the next three years, both parties will develop joint work plans and exchange data and research materials. The agreement also includes facilitating exchanges of scientific personnel, organizing joint meetings and conferences, implementing joint research projects, and cooperating in training and scholarship programs.
