Baku: An online meeting was held between representatives of the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan (AFSA) and Iran’s Ministry of Agriculture. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues concerning the import and export of products subject to plant and animal health, veterinary, and phytosanitary controls.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, both parties exchanged views on measures to prevent transboundary animal diseases and strengthen joint efforts to combat them. They also discussed enhancing phytosanitary controls in bilateral trade and transit, as well as further developing cooperation in these areas.
