Baku:Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and India reached approximately $600 million in the first six months of the year. However, this figure does not fully capture the potential for economic collaboration between the two nations, according to Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. He highlighted the significant opportunities available for enhancing cooperation during a joint press conference with India’s Minister of External Affairs, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the minister noted that various relevant institutions are actively collaborating to improve trade relations. He further revealed that over 1,000 Indian companies currently have registration and operations in Azerbaijan, indicating a substantial Indian business presence in the country.
