Baku:Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and India reached approximately $600 million in the first half of this year, though officials believe this figure does not fully capture the potential for cooperation between the two nations. Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, highlighted the opportunities for enhancing trade at a joint press conference with India’s Minister of External Affairs, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister noted that several relevant institutions are actively cooperating to boost trade relations.
Bayramov also mentioned that over 1,000 Indian companies are currently registered and operating in Azerbaijan, indicating a significant presence and interest in further developing economic ties.
