Azerbaijan and Chile Strengthen Ties with Political Consultations and Academic Agreement


Santiago: Azerbaijan and Chile have taken a significant step in strengthening their diplomatic relations with a recent round of political consultations and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on academic cooperation.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov visited Chile on May 6-7 to engage in the 2nd round of political consultations. These discussions took place in Santiago and involved delegations led by Mammadov and Chile’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Patricio Torres.



The political consultations aimed to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two nations. At the conclusion of the talks, an MoU was signed between ADA University of Azerbaijan and the ‘Andres Bello’ Diplomatic Academy of Chile. This agreement is expected to foster academic collaboration and exchange between the educational institutions of both countries.
