Antalya: Within the framework of Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2026, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania Ferit Hoxha, Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on X, APA reports. Minister Bayramov congratulated the Albanian Minister on his appointment and wished him good luck in his position.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting between the two ministers highlighted the Azerbaijani-Albanian bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda. Discussions covered a range of areas including political dialogue, economy, trade, energy security, transport-communications, tourism, education, and culture. Energy cooperation was identified as a key driver of their bilateral relations, with both sides emphasizing the importance of developing relations based on friendship, mutual respect, and mutually beneficial partnerships.
The meeting also stressed the importance of continued cooperation and solidarity within multilateral platforms and international organizations. The role of dialogue and diplomacy in addressing regional and international security challenges was underscored, reflecting a commitment to collaborative problem-solving and peaceful engagement.
