Baku: Azerbaijan has formalized agreements on land lease and state guarantee with ACWA Power. The agreements were signed during the Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, highlighting the country’s commitment to fostering economic growth and development.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the land lease document was signed by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, the Chairman of the Board of the Agency for the Development of Economic Zones, Seymur Adigozalov, and the CEO of ACWA Power, Marco Arcelli. This agreement marks a significant step in facilitating ACWA Power’s operations in Azerbaijan.
Additionally, an agreement on state guarantee was signed by Azerbaijan’s Finance Minister, Sahil Babayev, and Marco Arcelli, CEO of ACWA Power. These agreements are expected to strengthen the collaboration between Azerbaijan and ACWA Power, contributing to the country’s economic initiatives and energy sector advancements.
