Baku: Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, met with Marco Arcelli, CEO of Saudi Arabia’s ACWA Power. The meeting highlighted the successful implementation of projects between Azerbaijan and ACWA Power. The parties reviewed the progress of the seawater desalination project planned for implementation in the country.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the sides also exchanged views on potential future projects within the framework of effective water management and sustainable development goals. The importance of such initiatives in terms of developing public-private partnerships in Azerbaijan, as well as facilitating the transfer of high-tech knowledge and innovations, was emphasized.
