Baku: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved technical assistance worth USD 2 million to support the implementation of the project titled ‘Support for the Development and Application of the Private Capital Mobilization Indicator,’ APA-Economics reports, citing the Bank.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Azerbaijan is among the developing countries included in the project.
The technical assistance will be financed through the Special Technical Assistance Fund and is aimed at developing a comprehensive methodology to systematically measure and stimulate private sector participation across various projects in ADB member countries.
In addition to Azerbaijan, the initiative covers Central Asia, South and Southeast Asia, as well as the Pacific region.
The main objective of the project is to strengthen ADB’s analytical framework for private capital mobilization and to enhance institutional capacity in member countries.
