Khankendi:The ASAN Khidmet model was presented at the international forum ‘SOCGOV 2026 Digital Analytics for Smart Governance,’ held in Khankendi. The event focused on showcasing innovative public service delivery approaches.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, highlighted the ASAN Khidmet model as a successful example of innovation in public service delivery. He noted that the model simplifies administrative procedures, optimizes service processes, and strengthens trust between the state and citizens.
The forum also emphasized the DOST Agency’s achievements in implementing digital solutions in social services and promoting a citizen-centered approach. Discussions at the event centered around digital transformation in social governance, artificial intelligence-driven decision-making, and citizen-centered service delivery models, with activities including TEDx-style debates, thematic working group meetings, parallel sessions, and presentations by partner organizations.
Additionally, the forum featured a side event jointly organized by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan and Garabagh University, along with panel discussions on AI in public services and digitalization. Laman Ibrahimova, Head of ASAN AI Hub, remarked that AI aims to improve public services by making access faster and easier, ensuring fair and accurate decisions, and strengthening public trust.
