BAKU: As Azerbaijanis living abroad, we highly appreciate the upcoming parliamentary elections on September 1, the chairperson of the Eskisehir Azerbaijanis Association and deputy chairman of the Federation of Turkish-Azerbaijani Associations Javid Aydin told the Independent Media Center Se?hki 2024, Trend reports.
”These elections are a historic event for Azerbaijan. For a long time, no voting has been held in our occupied lands in connection with the elections to Milli Majlis. Now polling stations have been established in Shusha, Khankendi, and our other historical lands, and our people will vote in their native lands. As Azerbaijanis living abroad, we are very happy and proud of this,” he said.
He noted that Azerbaijan has already stepped into a new stage.
‘The new parliament will take steps to flexibly address issues related to the further development of our country. I wish that this election will benefit our people, our motherland,’ he added.
