Yerevan: Armenia does not plan to engage in an arms race with anyone, including Azerbaijan, said Armenia’s Defense Minister Suren Papikyan at a press conference held on January 13, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the minister emphasized that this does not mean that Armenia is stopping arms purchases and modernization. He noted that plans exist, there is no contradiction, and contingency plans do not need to be discussed; everything is proceeding as forecasted.
