Yerevan: Armenia finds no issues with the quality of Azerbaijani gasoline as confirmed by the head of the country’s Market Surveillance Inspection Authority, Armen Kotolyan. The gasoline imported from Azerbaijan fully complies with the technical requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, laboratory tests were conducted on gasoline samples by the National Standardization and Metrology Authority. The tests verified that the entire batch met the technical requirements set by the Eurasian Economic Union. Armen Kotolyan stated that no quality-related problems were identified in the gasoline imports.
The export of petroleum products from Azerbaijan to Armenia began on December 18 of the previous year, as part of the peace agenda between the two countries. The export, which includes gasoline, is conducted purely on a commercial basis, with sales made according to international market prices.
