Ankara: Annual inflation in Trkiye has increased, APA-Economics reports, citing the Turkish Statistical Institute (TSI). Annual inflation in September of this year was 33.29%. In August, this figure was 32.95%. In September, consumer prices increased by 3.23% compared to the previous month.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, in the last year, an increase of 36.06% was observed in food and non-alcoholic beverages, 25.30% in transportation, and 51.36% in housing. Inflation in Trkiye reached its highest level in the last 24 years in October 2022, at 85.5%. Last year, the highest indicator was recorded in May at 75.45%, and this year, in January at 42.12%.
