Baku: The international TV channel “AnewZ” has announced the release of its latest documentary, “The Oligarch’s Design,” which delves into the financial dealings, political sway, and influence on public opinion wielded by Ruben Vardanyan.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, during a press conference, AnewZ TV Executive Director Rufat Hamzayev revealed that the project commenced in January and spanned 10 to 11 months of filming. The documentary’s production took place across Azerbaijan, including Garabagh, and extended to eight other countries: Italy, Lithuania, the UK, the U.S., Israel, Ukraine, and Armenia. Hamzayev highlighted that approximately a hundred individuals contributed to the creation of this film.
In Armenia, the filming involved interviews with individuals connected to Ruben Vardanyan through various organizations. Additionally, an interview was recorded with a representative from the “We Are Our Mountains” public association. The film also examines the Aurora Foundation, featuring interviews with its representatives, an organization known for involving notable personalities globally over the years.
Rufat Hamzayev emphasized that the documentary relied heavily on factual databases and publicly available sources. Guy Shone, Editor in Chief at AnewZ, underscored that the channel’s editorial stance remains rooted in balance, factual accuracy, and impartiality.
