Kyiv: Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, Andrii Sybiha, emphasized Azerbaijan’s critical role in the region and its strategic importance for European energy security during a joint press conference with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, in Kyiv. He underscored Azerbaijan’s significant contribution and position in efforts to end regional conflicts.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Sybiha described Azerbaijan and Ukraine as strategic partners, highlighting the active presence of Azerbaijani companies in Ukraine. He expressed Ukraine’s interest in diversifying its energy supply sources and stated that Azerbaijan holds strategic importance for the entire European continent, including Ukraine, from an energy security perspective. Sybiha noted that Ukraine is actively advancing its cooperation with Azerbaijan and is confident that this collaboration will yield substantial outcomes.
