Baku: Relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus are of a strategic partnership nature. Thanks to the contributions of Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, the two countries enjoy a high-level political dialogue, mutual respect, and a constructive approach, Ambassador of Belarus to Azerbaijan Dmitry Pinevich told AZERTAC.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the ambassador emphasized the development of economic relations between Belarus and Azerbaijan, noting that cooperation covers all areas. Significant progress is being made in mechanical engineering, construction, and agriculture. Azerbaijan, being a powerful agricultural country, complements Belarus in these sectors. Moreover, both nations maintain mutual relations in transport, serving as transit countries.
The ambassador also touched upon diplomatic relations, praising the mutual support between Belarus and Azerbaijan within international platforms.
