Baku: Currently, work is underway between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to define new wind and solar energy projects, UAE Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammed Al Blooshi told AZERTAC.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the ambassador underlined that the energy sector, especially renewable energy, is one of the most dynamic areas of cooperation between the two countries. He stated that the UAE’s Masdar company acts as a leading partner implementing major projects in Azerbaijan.
The ambassador highlighted that in the renewable energy sector, UAE’s Masdar company is one of the largest companies involved. Several large projects have been implemented by Masdar, with relevant contracts concluded. Some of these projects have already been submitted, he added.
