Baku: Today, the main direction of investment projects is Karabakh and East Zangezur, said Prime Minister Ali Asadov during the discussion of the draft law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026” submitted for discussion at today’s session of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the prime minister emphasized that, under the direct leadership and participation of the President, rapid reconstruction and restoration work is being carried out in the territories liberated from occupation. He highlighted that since 2020, including 2026, more than 25 billion manats have been allocated from the state budget for the restoration of the liberated territories. For the year 2026, a significant 3.5 billion manats have been allocated.
Asadov explained that a large portion of these funds has been directed toward infrastructure projects. He stressed the importance of considering the additional value these projects will create for the economy in the medium and long term.
