Algerian citizens attempting to violate Azerbaijani border detained-PHOTO

On August 30 at 7:20, citizens of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Amair Ziane, born in 1969, and Belkhatir Mohammed-Fodil, born in 1999, who violated the state border and attempted to illegally cross from the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Georgia, were detained by border guards in the service area of the border outpost of the “Shamkir” border detachment of the State Border Service, located near the village of Sadygli, Aghstafa district, APA reports citing the State Border Service.

During the investigation, it was determined that the detained persons officially entered the country, and by violating the state border intended to migrate from the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Georgia, and from there to one of the European countries.

Operational-investigative measures on the fact are underway.
