Aircraft En Route Istanbul-Tbilisi Makes Emergency Landing at Baku Airport


Baku: A Boeing 737 aircraft operated by Turkish Airlines, on its journey from Istanbul to Tbilisi, was compelled to make an emergency landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport. The request for the landing was initiated by the aircraft’s captain, as reported by the press service of Heydar Aliyev International Airport.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the emergency landing was necessitated due to unfavorable weather conditions at the aircraft’s intended destination in Georgia. The decision was made to ensure the safety of all passengers and crew aboard the flight.
