Baku: The construction of the Agdam-Khankendi railway line will be completed by the end of next year, as announced by Emin Huseynov, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Agdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, construction of the railway line is currently underway. Emin Huseynov has confirmed that the Agdam-Khankendi railway line is set to be completed by the end of next year.
The first passenger train on the Baku-Agdam-Baku route, operated by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, a company under AZCON Holding, has recently arrived in Agdam from the capital. The train departed from Baku to Agdam at 07:10 and reached its destination at 11:53. Passengers will have the option to use several stations along the route, including Baku, Bilajari, Ujar, Laki, Yevlakh, Barda, Kocharli, Tezekend, and Agdam.
