Baku: On December 10, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) Samir Akhundov met with a World Bank delegation led by Roger Coma Cunill, Senior Energy Specialist and task team leader. The meeting focused on the ‘Azerbaijan Scaling-Up Renewable Energy Project’ (AZURE), as well as issues related to improving electricity tariffs.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the parties also reviewed the progress made in the ongoing electricity sector reforms.
