Baku: ABB Bank has unveiled a new digital payment solution, ABB Pay, marking a significant step in the expansion of digital financial services. The innovative solution is designed to provide a convenient local alternative to global payment methods such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, specifically targeting e-commerce and online shopping sectors.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, ABB Pay is built on secure fintech technologies and offers users the ability to complete purchases quickly and efficiently without repeatedly entering card details. The payment solution simplifies the user experience by enabling transactions through three convenient methods: QR code scanning via the ABB mobile app, direct app links for mobile device shopping, and mobile notifications sent to registered phone numbers.
ABB Pay aims to enhance the online shopping experience for individual customers by making processes more flexible and efficient. The solution is integrated with ‘Payriff’, allowing seamless payments across more than 20 online stores and boosting payment conversion rates for e-commerce businesses. ABB Bank plans to extend this capability to other fintech companies in the future.
As part of its commitment to digital transformation and open banking, ABB Bank intends to continue expanding strategic partnerships within the local fintech ecosystem, developing financial solutions that align with customer expectations. Comprehensive information on ABB’s products and services can be accessed through the Bank’s branches, official website, Information Centre, and social media pages.
