26 fires occurred in Kyrgyzstan in past 24 hours, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on August 23.
28 fire brigades were involved in extinguishing the fires.
7 fires were recorded in Chui region, 6 in Issyk-Kul region, 4 in Osh region, 4 in Jalal-Abad region, 2 in Bishkek, 1 in Osh city, 1 in Batken region, and 1 in Talas region.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations received a message at 10:20 pm on August 21 that 300 bales of hay were burning on the territory of a private household in Dachi-SU village of Sokuluk district. 4 fire brigades were sent to extinguish the fire.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire was localized at 7:00 am on August 23, and was completely extinguished at 10:12 am. The area of the fire was 600 square meters.
A 22-year-old local resident was injured in the fire, his relatives took him to the hospital.
