Baku: Uzbek textile companies are setting their sights on expanding their presence in the Azerbaijani market. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Azerbaijan recently facilitated a visit by a delegation of 15 representatives from prominent Uzbek textile firms to Baku. The primary goal of this visit was to forge new partnerships and significantly increase the volume of textile exports to Azerbaijan through strategic business-to-business (B2B) meetings.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the delegation comprised representatives from various leading Uzbek textile companies, including Textile Pro Group, Fashion Premium, Grand Tex Group, Sofiya Sof Textile, Bahmal Textile, Usmon Nur Textile, and UZtex Group, among others. These companies are eager to tap into the Azerbaijani market by showcasing their products and establishing lasting business relationships.
During their visit, the Uzbek representatives presented their products to over 30 Azerbaijani textile importers, distributors, and shopping center managers. This initiative is part of a broader effort to double the current textile export volumes from Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan, thereby enhancing economic ties between the two nations.
