Yerevan: The United States is set to relocate military equipment from the Dlmen military base in Germany to a training ground in Armenia. The operation will utilize a route through Georgia, marking a significant shift in military logistics and strategy in the region.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the equipment is scheduled to be stationed at the Zar military base in Armenia, with the entire transfer operation planned to occur from July 16 to August 7. Following this, the equipment is expected to be returned to Germany between August 21 and September 20.
The agreement between the involved parties also outlines a subsequent transfer of equipment from the military training ground in Armavir, Armenia, to the port of Poti in Georgia. This move has been interpreted by experts as an effort by the US to enhance its influence over Armenia’s military capacity.
