Baku: Trkiye’s Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz has expressed concerns over the ongoing conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States, stating that it poses a significant threat to regional stability, including the Turkic world. Addressing a meeting in Baku, attended by prime ministers and vice presidents of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States, Yilmaz highlighted the unresolved crises within the global system.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Yilmaz emphasized that the conflict continues to endanger the energy market, particularly the Strait of Hormuz, which is a critical passage for global energy supplies. He warned that the situation could lead to irreversible consequences for the region and its economy. Yilmaz stressed that Iran targeting regional countries is unacceptable and called for an immediate cessation of hostilities, urging a return to diplomatic solutions.
