Baku:An event commemorating Slovakia’s national holiday, Constitution Day, took place in Baku on September 29.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, conveyed the heartfelt congratulations and best wishes of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on this notable occasion.
Gafarova emphasized the rapid elevation of Azerbaijan-Slovakia relations to a strategic partnership level, attributing this progress to the leaders’ political will and a consistent approach to enhancing bilateral ties. She highlighted the ongoing development of relations across various sectors, including economic, trade, energy, investment, military-technical, cultural, educational, and interparliamentary cooperation.
Gafarova expressed optimism that the friendship and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Slovakia will continue to thrive, contributing positively to both nations’ welfare.
Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Robert Kalin¡k remarked that reciprocal visits and close contacts have played a significant role in strengthening the bilateral relationship.
