Baku:At a reception in Baku celebrating Constitution Day and Armed Forces Day of the Slovak Republic, Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Robert Kalin¡k highlighted the significance of concepts such as sovereignty, constitution, identity, freedom, and democracy for nations defending their sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, Kalin¡k stated that Azerbaijan has demonstrated the possibility of defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity, congratulating the nation on the successful outcome of its 30-year struggle. He emphasized the importance of peace, noting that alliances with the European Union and NATO are crucial, and that these partnerships should endure beyond favorable conditions.
Kalin¡k also commented on the complex security situation in Europe and reiterated Slovakia’s support for its NATO allies. He expressed his pleasure at participating in the celebrations and mentioned his upcoming attendance at the ADEX defense exhibition.
