Baku: ‘Against the backdrop of profound changes taking place in the modern system of international relations, reaffirming the UN’s central coordinating role is of particular importance,’ President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov said at the SCO Plus format meeting, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Bishkek reports. He expressed pride in concluding Kyrgyzstan’s chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation with such a significant and high-level event.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Sadyr Japarov emphasized the meeting’s main theme, ‘The UN as a key element of a just world order: Contribution of SCO Plus states to the formation of a multipolar world.’ He highlighted that the selection of this theme was influenced by the significant transformations occurring in international relations today. The Kyrgyz President stressed the importance of reaffirming the United Nations’ central coordinating role and the shared responsibility of nations in shaping a just, sustainable, and equitable world order.
