Ankara: President of Trkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with speakers of parliament attending the 152nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova also attended the meeting. During the meeting, Erdogan highlighted the significance of the event and the relevance of the topics discussed.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Erdogan lauded the mission of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, expressing confidence that the 152nd Assembly would contribute to a more just, secure, and peaceful world through parliamentary diplomacy. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that stronger inter-parliamentary cooperation is vital for addressing global challenges and highlighted the importance of dialogue and mutual understanding.
