Moscow: In an informal gathering held in Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon engaged in a phone call with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the conversation unfolded in a cordial atmosphere, where the leaders discussed prospects for advancing interstate relations.
During the call, President Putin extended an invitation to President Aliyev to attend the commemorative events in Moscow marking the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War. President Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the invitation, signaling his appreciation for the gesture.
The leaders expressed mutual interest in furthering cooperation and agreed to meet at the upcoming events in Moscow dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory.
