Tashkent: Central Asia and Azerbaijan constitute a single geopolitical and economic region with great potential and even greater opportunities for future development, President Ilham Aliyev said in a joint press statement with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, APA’s special correspondent reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized Azerbaijan’s recent inclusion in the cooperative framework with Central Asian countries, highlighting the significant role played by President Mirziyoyev in this development. He noted that this inclusion has broadened the geography of cooperation, positioning Central Asia and Azerbaijan as a unified geopolitical and economic region. This region holds substantial potential and opportunities for future development.
President Aliyev further remarked that the positive development dynamics of this expansive and increasingly integrated region are largely reliant on the close cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. The collaboration between these nations is seen as crucial for the continued growth and integration of the region.
