Baku: Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the development of economic and trade ties with Vietnam, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated in an interview with the Vietnam News Agency, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted that the trade volume between Azerbaijan and Vietnam reached 223.93 million USD in 2024. He expressed confidence in the potential for further growth in these trade figures, indicating a positive outlook for bilateral relations.
President Aliyev also pointed out the cooperation between the two countries in the oil sector, underscoring the strategic partnership beyond trade. This collaboration in the energy sector marks a significant aspect of the bilateral relations, aiming to foster mutual benefits and strengthen economic ties.
