Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev congratulated President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President Mirziyoyev and the people of Uzbekistan. In his letter, President Aliyev acknowledged the path of development that Uzbekistan has undertaken since gaining independence, highlighting the country’s success under President Mirziyoyev’s leadership. He noted the large-scale reforms, significant economic progress, and improvements in social welfare achieved in Uzbekistan.
President Aliyev emphasized the strong bond between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, describing the relationship as built on shared historical and cultural roots.
