Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has addressed a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj on the occasion of the national holiday, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the letter from President Aliyev extends warm congratulations on behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan to President Begaj and the entire Albanian populace. The letter emphasizes the importance Azerbaijan places on its relationship with Albania, noting the strong and growing ties between the two nations.
President Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the development of interstate relations, which are built on solid foundations, and the expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Albania. He highlighted the frequent meetings and visits as evidence of the strong friendship and dynamic relations between the two countries, recalling his visit to Tirana in May for the 6th Summit of the European Political Community.
Expressing optimism for the future, President Aliyev conveyed his confidence in the ongoing joint efforts to strengthen the friendly relations and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas, reflecting the will of both peoples. On the occasion of Albania’s national holiday, he wished President Begaj good health, happiness, and success, along with lasting peace and prosperity for the people of Albania.
