Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has approved the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Azerbaijan and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the MoU focuses on establishing a mechanism for continuous monitoring within the framework of the universal inspection program in aviation security.
The approval of this MoU was formalized through a law signed by President Aliyev. The agreement was initially signed on August 1, 2023, in Baku, Azerbaijan, and subsequently on September 8, 2023, in Montreal, Canada. The MoU aims to enhance aviation security by ensuring ongoing oversight and adherence to international standards.
