Gizilgaya:The ‘Power of Unity – 2026’ joint military exercise has come to an end at various training centers across Azerbaijan, including the Gizilgaya and Garabaghlar Training Centers in the Garabagh economic region and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, as well as the Boyuk Zira Training Area in the Caspian Sea.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the exercise concluded with a Distinguished Visitors’ Day, as announced by the Ministry of Defense. A closing ceremony was held, during which national anthems of Azerbaijan, T¼rkiye, and Uzbekistan were performed by a military band.
Speakers at the ceremony highlighted the exercise’s role in fostering experience exchange among military personnel from the three participating countries, enhancing combat readiness, and strengthening friendly relations. The exercise saw participation from nine observer countries, and participants demonstrated professionalism, tactical competence, and coordinated action under challenging and realistic combat conditions.
After the speeches, distinguished military personnel were presented with gifts, followed by a ceremonial march-past. The event concluded with performances by the creative ensemble of the Hazi Aslanov Army Ideological and Cultural Center.
