Baku: People’s Artist Brilliant Dadashova has alleged that the song “Ayri Dsmsk,” performed by her and AISEL, was appropriated by a Georgian singer. Dadashova conveyed these claims to APA, asserting that her work was stolen and presented as Georgian music on television channels and social media platforms in Georgia.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Dadashova stated that an appeal has been made to the relevant authorities to address the copyright issue. She emphasized that steps are being taken to correct the misappropriation of her artistic work.
In response to an inquiry by APA, the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan reported that they had not yet received an official appeal concerning the case in question. The situation remains under observation as parties involved await further developments.
