Lachin: ‘The opening of the Zangezur corridor is one of the issues of strategic importance against the backdrop of new realities,’ said Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev at the international conference on “National Leader Heydar Aliyev is the author of the Constitution of independent Azerbaijan” held in the city.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Prosecutor General emphasized that the project would not only establish a land connection between mainland Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan but also transform the regional transport map, significantly contributing to both economic and political integration.
Kamran Aliyev highlighted President Ilham Aliyev’s assertion that the Zangezur corridor is crucial for Azerbaijan’s national interests and plays a significant role in international cooperation, trade relations, and global security. He stated that the corridor’s opening would demonstrate Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and its leading position in the region.
