Gabala: Gabala’s new head coach has been announced, Apasport.az reports, citing the club’s press service. The Red-Blacks have signed a 1+2-year contract with North Macedonian specialist Jeton Beqiri.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the 44-year-old coach most recently managed Shkendija in his home country. Over the years, Beqiri has served as head coach of Drita, Gostivar, Renova, and Struga in North Macedonia, as well as Bylis in Albania. Additionally, he held the position of sporting director at Al-Jabalain in Saudi Arabia.
Jeton Beqiri achieved significant success by winning the North Macedonian championship with Shkendija in the 2024-2025 season. The new head coach is set to begin his duties at Gabala on September 20.
